ChatRod is built on the principle of free speech, and we strive to provide a platform where users can share their thoughts, ideas, and experiences without censorship. However, we expect users to exercise their right to free speech responsibly. This means:
Respect Others’ Rights: While you are free to express yourself, your content should not infringe upon the rights, dignity, or safety of others.
No Hate Speech: We do not tolerate content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, or any other personal characteristic.
We recognize the importance of fostering a diverse community, so we welcome users from all backgrounds and walks of life. To promote a positive and respectful environment for all, we require the following:
Respect Cultural Identity: Content that disrespects or demeans any cultural or ethnic identity will not be tolerated. We especially seek to protect and uplift the voices of marginalized communities, including but not limited to African voices.
Avoid Harmful Stereotypes: Content that perpetuates harmful stereotypes or fuels division among communities is not allowed. We encourage users to share their stories and experiences in ways that promote understanding and mutual respect.
ChatRod is committed to providing a space where the African diaspora and Black communities can thrive, share, and engage freely. We aim to protect these communities from harmful content and attacks while promoting positive representations. Content that attacks, vilifies, or otherwise harms these communities is strictly prohibited. However, we are mindful of not creating bias and welcome all voices, as long as they align with these respectful and constructive guidelines.
We are a platform that values positive interactions. Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes:
Targeting Individuals: No personal attacks, threats, or campaigns of harassment. Everyone has the right to express themselves without fear of being targeted or bullied.
No Doxxing: Sharing private or personal information about others without their consent is strictly prohibited.
If you feel harassed or threatened, please report the incident through the tools provided in the app.
ChatRod is a space for creativity and expression, but content must align with our community standards. Here are a few important guidelines:
Respectful Debate: We welcome differing viewpoints and encourage debates, but personal attacks, insults, and hostile behavior are not permitted. Disagreement is part of free speech, but it must be civil and respectful.
No Violence or Incitement: Content that encourages, glorifies, or promotes violence or illegal activities will be removed, and repeat offenders may be banned.
Protecting Minors: Content that exploits or harms children in any way is strictly prohibited. This includes sexually suggestive content involving minors or other harmful practices.
At ChatRod, our values are people, love and truth. While we encourage diverse viewpoints, spreading false or misleading information, particularly about sensitive topics such as health, safety, and public welfare, is not allowed.
Fact-Check Before Posting: We encourage all users to verify their content before sharing it to ensure accuracy.
No Conspiracy Theories or Harmful Misinformation: Content that spreads unverified conspiracy theories or disinformation, especially those that could harm individuals or communities, will be removed.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect you to do the same. Do not share content that:
Violates copyright or intellectual property laws.
Uses someone else’s work (including videos, music, art, or writing) without permission.
If you believe your work has been used without permission, you can report it through the contact options within the app, and we will investigate.
If you encounter content that violates these Community Guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools. We take all reports seriously and will take appropriate action based on our review.
Note: Reporting content does not guarantee its removal. Content will be assessed in line with these Guidelines and applicable laws.
Violations of these guidelines may result in actions including:
Content Removal: Any content that violates our guidelines may be removed without prior notice.
Account Suspension or Termination: Repeated violations or serious offenses may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
Legal Action: In cases of serious violations, including threats of violence or illegal activities, we reserve the right to pursue legal action or report the behavior to relevant authorities.
ChatRod is not responsible for the content posted by its users. The views and opinions expressed by users do not reflect those of Joshua’s Girdle or its team. We provide this platform to foster free speech, but each user is responsible for the content they share.
While we strive to create a safe and welcoming space, we are not liable for harm caused by users’ posts, interactions, or misuse of the platform. Joshua’s Girdle reserves the right to update these guidelines at any time.
As outlined in our Privacy Policy, we are committed to protecting your personal data. We will never share your private information without your consent, and we take strong measures to ensure your data is secure.
